description for series:
[the idea is more or less that as students, and as members of society, we are taught from a young age to think, behave, learn, etc. the same and very few people break out of the pigeonholes into which they are forced. also, many people in our generation are completely out of touch - with themselves, with other people, and with their environment. this bothers me. i wanted to represent it in an in-your-face sort of way. these were the preliminary photos for a mini-critique in class, and my camera sort of let me down, but i also had the ISO settings too high so the pictures came out lousy quality. the next pictures were taken with a nice SLR nikon, but i don't have those yet, they're still in raw form on someone else's computer. i don't know if i can really honestly upload all of them, because not all of them were taken by me, since i'm in some of them. maybe if they come out really great i'll post them with that disclaimer. not sure yet. but there are more photos of this concept to come that will be better quality. these were really fun to shoot, by the way.
in the next part of the series with the better camera, there are more models, different ones.]
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
